ตรีศูรย์

            ตรีศูล หรือย่อว่า ตรี (สันสกฤต: त्रिशूल, trishūla) เป็นประเภทของสามง่ามในวัฒนธรรมอินเดีย แต่ก็พบในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ด้วยเช่นกัน ตรีศูลมักใช้เป็นสัญลักษณ์ในศาสนาฮินดูและพระพุทธศาสนา คำนี้มีความหมายว่า “หอกสามเล่ม” ในภาษาสันสกฤตและภาษาบาลี

            Trident or abbreviated as tris (Sanskrit: त्रिशूल, trishūla) is a type of trident in Indian culture. But also found in Southeast Asia as well, Trident is often used as a symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism. This word means “three spears” in Sanskrit and Pali.

            Trident is a symbol of wealth. It is a personal weapon of Lord Shiva, the Hindu god and is said to be the weapon used to cut the head of Ganesha. The three pointed ends of the Trident have different meanings and importance. And there are stories in the Hindu religion. It is often said that the three trilogy of Trident represent the Trinity – creation, healing, and destruction, past, present, and future.
